Evercool Silent Shark CPU Cooler Review



It has been some time now since our friends at Evercool has called on us to do a review for them. The last reviews were on the Transformer and the Buffalo coolers. Both coolers performed well for what they were intended for. The Transformer has been Evercool’s biggest winner as it was the larger of the coolers and fought with many of the big boys on the market at that time.

Now in 2013 our second CPU cooler review will be for Evercool’s newest high performance cooler, the HPO-12025 aka Silent Shark. The dual tower-style cooler is designed with a little extra when it comes to its second fan. Just what is that ‘extra’? well, not only can it be used to configure a push-pull cooling setup for also blow cool air over some of the other important components in your rig.

Evercool’s take on the Silent Shark

Superior in its design, with six 6Φ high-performance heat pipes and Copper-based design ensures that the CPU heat can be evenly transmitted to the heat pipes. To ensure CPU operates properly, the Silent Shark cooler supports with two sets of unique V-shaped fin design and collaborates with Evercool exclusive Silent Fan and Shark Fan that can increase the speed of heat conduction. In addition, by changing cover installation position, EVERCOOL Silent Shark doesn’t only contribute to the Silent Shark coolers superb CPU cooling capabilities but also provides massive airflow over surrounding motherboard components and heatsinks, thus ensuring excellent component cooling performance. Providing more surface area, better heat-distribution and superior airflow efficiency, the Silent Shark coolers six heatpipe dual radiator design was developed to provide ultimate quiet cooling performance in dual fan mode. The Silent Shark supports a premium quality dual fan setup consisting of one PWM fan and one EVERCOOL latest shark fan, which two functions for silent / overclocking speed control make it convenient and affordable for users flexible using.
