As you can probably tell I'm a fan of the close ups. Its where this camera really shines, otherwise the picture quality is just mediocre.

closes and macro shots are the best. i think most of the pictures are sharp and have good contrast. except for the third one. i think the focus was on the wrong area.

Nice, and ya it looks like you where focused on the needles for the third pic, still nice none the less.

True, I probably should have had it focused on the pine cone, but even so its pretty good for such a cheap little digital camera.

Now don't get me wrong it still looks like a really nice picture. Props still go out for it, just an observation

Ken Rockwell did a small write up about picture taking between a small point-n-shoot and a DSLR and the results were surprising.
