Default XFX ATI 4000 Series Round Up

Quote:
One has to wonder what XFX can possibly bring to the table that isn't already there but as we have seen with the flagship single GPU card, the XFX4890XXX (reviewed in full here), XFX know a thing or too about what the end user wants: Supreme packaging, useful accessories and perhaps most importantly, overclocked editions backed up with 5 star support. So then. let's hope this is the case with their new ATI range of GPU's. Can XFX deliver? I think it's time we found out.

Default XFX ATI Radeon HD 4890 XXX Edition Video Card

Quote:
XFX's move to making ATI-based video cards is a long awaited one. With NVIDIA having troubles throughout and with the economic recession in full force throughout the computer industry, choice and price/performance are more important than ever. With retail price of only $15 USD more than the next expensive XFX HD 4890 card the XXX Edition is well worth the purchase as you get a 50MHz overclock out of the box and the support that XFX is well known for. The inclusion of HAWX, a game that was released less than a month ago is an added bonus with DirectX 10.1 enhancements to speed that show off what the card can do.

Default XFX ATI Radeon HD 4890 XXX Video Card

Quote:
"It wasn't so long ago that XFX only sold NVIDIA branded video cards. At the beginning of 2009, XFX also started selling ATI branded cards and today I am going to check out XFX's latest ATI card, the HD 4890 XXX. It's not often that I get to play with an overclocked ATI video card like the XXX 4890 and if you want something other than the typical ATI and NVIDIA fare, the XFX ATI Radeon HD 4890 XXX may be just what you are looking for."
